In August, we held the final teen camp of the season at the West Almaz Missionary Point. It was a joyful and deeply meaningful time — full of games, laughter, worship, and honest talks about faith. Most of our team were teenagers themselves, serving with open hearts and growing in responsibility and compassion.

But God had a special plan for this camp. Among the participants was Andrii, a 17-year-old with cerebral palsy. His presence changed everything. As his mother said, “For a paralyzed person, there’s only one chance — when four friends take apart the roof and lower him to Jesus.” That’s exactly what we witnessed.

Through caring for Andrii, helping him take part in every activity, and simply being his friends, our teens discovered what real, practical love looks like. It wasn’t just a lesson from the Bible — it became their lived experience.

This camp reminded us once again that God’s plans are always higher than ours. He brings the right people at the right time to reveal His love in the most tangible ways.
