Nestled in a rural village in the northern part of Kyiv region—an area that suffered Russian occupation in early 2022—the Western Missionary Center “Almaz” serves as a beacon of light. This center is not just a building—it’s a vital base for Christian outreach, youth camps, discipleship retreats, and mercy ministries that touch the lives of people in this war-affected and spiritually hungry region.

The people in this area—especially children and teenagers—face deep challenges. Most families live below the poverty line. Young people have few opportunities. With only school and seasonal fieldwork to occupy their time, many teens are left on their own, vulnerable to unhealthy addictions and destructive behaviors.

Why We Need a Sports Field

We are raising funds to build a multi-purpose sports field at the Almaz Missionary Center—a safe and welcoming space where children and teens can gather, grow, and be guided in a healthy direction. This project will:

  • Unite youth around meaningful, positive activities
  • Provide a healthy alternative to boredom, addiction, and destructive influences
  • Open doors for deeper relationships and long-term mentoring
