Another Visit, Another Seed Planted in Znamianka
Our team recently returned from another trip to the orphanage in Znamianka—one of many we try to make throughout the year.
This time, our visit coincided with the celebration of the Annunciation, and we made it a special focus of the trip. One of our team members gave a short, heartfelt message about this important event, helping the children understand what it meant that the angel came to Mary with such powerful news. To make it even more relatable, we prepared a little play—something simple but engaging—to bring the story to life. The kids loved it.
As always, we spent time doing crafts together, which is one of our favorite ways to connect with the children. But this visit also held a beautiful surprise: some of the girls gave us diamond mosaic paintings we had brought on a previous trip. Their diligence and creativity moved us deeply.
We also brought hygiene products for the children, household supplies for the staff, and sweet treats for everyone. Every visit sows seeds of hope, and we’re thankful to be part of what God is doing in Znamianka.
