Winter camps in WAMP

This winter, we had the joy of hosting two wonderful camps at the West Almaz Missionary Center, one for children and one for youth. These camps were filled with laughter, creativity, and deep conversations about God.
The kids and teens had a blast making crafts, playing board games, and enjoying outdoor activities in the crisp winter air. Each evening, we also gathered around the fireplace for meaningful Bible discussions and great conversations.

We’re so grateful for the opportunity to spend this time together and for the impact it had on the hearts of the young people. We thank everyone who supported us in this ministry and made these camps possible!

Over the past few months, the West Almaz Missionary Point has also witnessed moments of sorrow, as several funerals took place here. In Ukraine, it is customary to hold a memorial dinner after the burial—and in small villages like Pidhayne, the whole community usually comes together for this.

While these gatherings were born out of loss, they also opened a unique door for ministry. Our team was able to lovingly share the Gospel and speak about the hope we have in Christ beyond this life. In these quiet, reflective moments, many hearts were open to hear about eternity and the One who offers true comfort and peace.
We’re grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside people in both their grief and their search for meaning—and to gently point them to the eternal hope found in Jesus.
